Escape with me. . .

Bay Escape is our home on the Chesapeake Bay in Reedville, Virginia.  It was here, a number of years ago, that I was inspired by the natural beauty of the Bay and her many birds and critters to take up photography. At the same time, I also took up kayaking and now do the vast majority of my exploring and photography while actually on the water. While floating or being buffeted by waves certainly presents some challenges, kayaking allows me a different perspective than when land-based and frequently allows me to get closer to the Bay’s wildlife. I developed this website to share with you the peace and beauty of the Chesapeake Bay and I invite you to come along for the ride as I continue to explore her treasures.
