Stormy Weather

There’s a certain beauty in an approaching or departing storm, in cloud formations and in the fog. . .especially when witnessed safely from shore. Without the bright light of the sun/daylight, shadows and silhouettes frequently prevail, setting a mysterious and moody scene.

“I have seen the sea when it is stormy and wild; when it is quiet and serene; when it is dark and moody. And in all its moods, I see myself.”

~Martin D. Buxbaum (1912–1991), in Table Talk
